Blog Action Day 2009: Climate Change

It seems that yet for another time, human stupidity is beyond comparison. Every hint around us becomes a warning, fast, about what is coming ahead. And we keep on denying the facts, as if our planet depends on humans to survive and not the other way around.

In a few weeks, we have the chance to get our voices together in a massive global day of action in the middle of the Copenhagen talks this December for climate change. Today, it is just an excuse to state our minds, express what we truly want from our leaders and make them follow our demands, or we will find others in their places who will.

Here are some videos from this year's Climate Change campaign. They say more than all the hour-long speeches from politicians and world leaders. MAKE them take the message.

"Global Warming 101" (National Geographic):

"RAISE YOUR VOICE and change climate change!" (Cop15 Campaign):

"The Most Terrifying Video You'll Ever See" (actually, a game-theoretic analysis of climate change and our response to it):

"Tck Tck Tck - Oxfam Climate Change Campaign" (Oxfam):

"Climate Code Green Campaign" (The impact of Climate Change on health - amsa.org.au):
